mesmers in pve and pvp r quite different
in pve, if ur jus standin around doin nuthin,
its kind of a waste
(whole time/efficiency thing)
in pvp, it really is okie to not be doin anythin
cuz waitin for the perfect time to shutdown or interrupt
timing is critical, but no so much time/efficiency
so they're bars will look differently
mesmers in pve cant use cooldown or anticipation as e-management
they need to be expending skills at a more constant rate
or simply, they will be less effective to the team

I always have my health at 610. If I'm running a caster, 580 on 40/40 set.
And yeah, PvE has alot to do with monster AI, but the stupidity of the monsters is their downfall. How does that change that the Ranger's interrupts are powerful because of recharge, and especially the disable on D-Shot are extemely powerful compared to the long recharge of alot of Mesmer interrupts.

And by the way, PvE doesn't mean everything is AI. You are there too. And if it wasn't AI, it wouldn't be PvE, but PvP.
You never cease to amaze me, Dark.
And no, I'm not starting a Mesmer Vs. Ranger discussion.
Ranger's already have the upper hand in survivability, because of strong blocking stances and extra armour, comparable to that of a Warrior versus elemental damage.
Mesmers are SQUISHIES, will always be SQUISHIES, and no amount of extra armour will say otherwise. If you take the added armour off that and put it on something else, that something else will have the upper hand.

Just going to throw it out there...this is a PvE thread. Dunno why you even started with the PvP seeing as the other guy has been referring to PvE the entire time.

Read the post. I mentioned PvP because without AI, you wouldn't be playing against AI, but other players.
